Dabbie Dab Station

“That’s not a moon…It’s a Dab Station!”
The Dab Station by Dabbie.

Over the past few months we have been talking a lot about dabbing, the process of dabbing and what to dab your dabs with. We have discussed the various benefits of vaporising concentrates, waxes, oils, (now) crystals and how the dabbing craze has slowly but surely exported itself from across the seas to the UK. By now you have probably heard within your own little brethren of herb fanatics one or two of them broaching the topic of the dab. Particularly within the medicinal user community the dab has become somewhat of a revelation for those who want to isolate and imbibe the particular elements of said herb that are beneficial to the treatment of the particular condition or aliment that they suffer from. It is perhaps the most direct and cleanest way of achieving those results. However, as we have also covered, for the dabbing newbie dipping ones toes in the water can be quite a strange and intimidating process as there are a few more elements to consider than just simply packing and ripping a bong or rolling yourself a fat number. In reality, the whole process of getting onboard with the dab is not as difficult as it at first seems and is more a process of familiarising oneself in a few procedures and getting your technique to standard. It is like riding horse; once you’ve done it you’ll never forget how and after a time it becomes virtually second nature.

But as with any hobby, sport or other past-time worth engaging in there is a set up process and period of familiarisation…

And for some folks (not mentioning the S-Word here!) that initial set-up and learning of the proverbial ropes is just a faff too far…

Or even a little off putting.

Which is a complete shame because when all is said and done, the results achieved by dabbing, for recreational and medicinal users alike, are quite extraordinary.

So just imagine if some clever group of engineers, designers and dab fiends were assembled to combine their knowledge, imagination and taste for a dank vape to create a dabbing unit so easy use it not only vaporises your dab in the most non-fuss fashion conceivable but also vaporises the word “fuss” entirely from the dictionary. Just as those brave and clever NASA scientists utilised their talents and character to bring back the boys of Apollo 13 home the ingenious and dedicated peeps who brought us the Dabbie E-Nail have achieved such a feat and have brought dabbing home with an e-nail unit so user friendly that even the freshest of fresh newbie can’t go wrong…

We here at DotComBong are proud to introduce the Dab Station.

Essentially what the Dab Station is a unit that takes all the thinking and apprehension associated with getting up and running with dabbing, rolls it into a tight little ball and tosses it right out the window. Everything you need is right here, apart from a bubbler and of course the dab to be dabbed. This is what this miraculous piece of kit has been designed for. Complete ease and convenience of use. The whole package in one neat and well manufactured package. In short, the Dab Station does for dabbing what the electric washing machine does for doing the laundry…

Saves time, effort, thought and all without a blow torch.

The Dab Station works on the same principle as other e-nails, with an electronic power station and heating element that produces an even and sustained temperature to the included dabbing nail. There are a number of pre-sets on the actual device but those settings are nuanced enough for the owner to have a play around with until their preferred levels are achieved. One of the first things you will notice about the Dab Station is just how compact the electronic components are. The station itself even comes included with a built in recharging port for your other devices. The design is tight and this goes a long a way to giving this particular unit a unique edge on its competitors. Unlike some of the other e-nails we have previously mentioned, the Dab Station fits neatly and unobtrusively into a nifty little carry case, that has room not only for the unit itself, but also the associated paraphernalia like dab jars and tools. The only thing the case will not fit is the bubbler, which is a necessary yet separate part of the equation and requires storage of its own… Particularly considering most bubblers are made from glass…But this is a concern we will cover in future pieces.

Bubbler aside, everything else needed to get up and running is included in the Dab Station package. The nail as well as the carb cap (all provided) are both manufactured from quartz, which we have already mentioned has a reputation for resulting in the most pure tasting dab as well as the best heat conductivity and retention. And the actual heating time is ridiculously quick. Considering the precision and care that is required when using a blow torch, the fact that the Dab Station removes this physical step from the dabbing process is a huge plus in my book. You just sit your nail into the bubbler, switch the device on and pick your preset, let the nail heat and place on your dab… Nothing easier. It really is that simple. By utilising your carb you can keep the air temperature at a lovely consistent level that will not sear your dab but keep it simmering away at a smooth and consistent rate…

So with the Dab Station you are not only getting a set-up that makes heating your nail as easy as flicking on a switch, but also an e-nail that maximises the flavour potential of any concentrate or oil. It really is designed to achieve the best of both worlds. Ease of use, minimal of combustion and pinnacle of flavour. The quartz nail provided is a hybrid nail, which is designed as a universal fit to most bubblers, so if you are travelling and you know that a rig is waiting for you at the other end, there is no need for the trials and tribulations associated with carrying glass around. The Dab Station nail will fit into any bubbler and away you go.

Aren't E-Nails Expensive?

The other major plus factor to consider with the Dab Station is the price. E-nails can be a very expensive tool to add to the collection and some units are priced towards the ugly side of £1000. A lot of these e-nails serve exactly the same function as the Dab Station but have been designed to act as conversation pieces and are essentially overpriced and completely unnecessary stoner bling. They look real pretty (some are actually customisable at the point of manufacture!) but pretty much do what any e-nail does…

Heat your dab electronically. Which for the most part, increasingly so as the practice of dabbing becomes ever more popular, is the only thing most people are concerned with. It’s not a fashion accessory they are after, but an affordable and easy to use tool that achieves best results. This is where, at an entirely reasonable £199.00, the Dab Station just can not be beat. It is the perfect platform to launch your dabbing hobby into the stratosphere. And for those that are taking their dabbing a little more seriously…

Say an individual who are dabbing to treat a medical condition who also have mobility issues to contend with, the Dab Station provides a compact system that is very simply set up and put into action. So to conclude, for the first time dabber, the medicinal dabber or even the long term dank dab enthusiast who just can not be arsed to mess around with a blow torch anymore the Dab Station is a purchase well worth seriously considering.
